This Madagascan endemic has a swollen trunk and narrow leaves. It is adapted to a long dry season, and spines protect its young branches.
Listed size: 4–5 m in the wild. Flowering or reproductive structures: white flowers. These describe the taxon, rather than a measurement of the particular plant in Prague.
