A deciduous Chinese shrub with finely toothed leaves and dark red young shoots. Reddish to orange-red fruit follows flowering.
Listed size: approximately 1,8–2,7 m. Flowering or reproductive structures: white flowers. These describe the taxon, rather than a measurement of the particular plant in Prague.
